Mokiti Okada

Mokiti Okada (1882/1955), who began his professional life as a businessman, was a recognized thinker of Japanese origin. He dedicated himself to studies in different areas of human knowledge: philosophy, art, education, medicine, agriculture, economics and religion.

For Mokiti Okada, the mission of human beings is to build Earthly Paradise, a world free from disease, poverty and conflict.

The foundation, which bears his name, develops research and projects in the educational, artistic, cultural and scientific areas through the Sanguetsu Academy of Ikebana, the MOA Research Institute and Korin Agropecuária, whose ideal is related to preservation of the environment and the production of food without chemical inputs.

Mokiti Okada’s great ideal was to promote happiness for all people, throughout the world, regardless of belief, race, gender, class, nationality, culture or any type of differentiation.
